What do you do at Cypress?

I place accounting and finance professionals into permanent positions. I strive to build relationships with candidates and clients and not treat them like transactions. I take pride in partnering with professionals and helping them develop in their career.

What was your life like before Cypress?

I attended the University of Tennessee where I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting. I started my career with Deloitte & Touche in the audit practice. I transitioned from Deloitte into recruiting where I spent 6 years with a large, national accounting & finance search firm. While there, I was the #1 recruiter for 2006 and 2007 and was recognized in the President's club every year while at the company.

What do you do when you are not at Cypress?

I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melissa, son, Rhett, daughter Kendall, daughter Sloane, and dog, Cadillac. I love playing golf and basketball and watching all sports. In the fall, you can always find me at Neyland Stadium rooting on the Vols.
